The idea for ABRACTUR emerged from the lack of an association to represent all categories of digital tourism and travel content creators in Brazil.
Some creators already expressed this desire, and during a meeting in 2023, they began to conceptualize the creation of the Association. From that point, this dream was built and realized in 2024, leading to the birth of ABRACTUR, a significant achievement for the category.
A non-profit organization, ABRACTUR is a pluralistic association that aims to bring together digital content creators from the travel and tourism niche across various categories, such as Instagrammers, TikTokers, YouTubers, bloggers, photographers, video producers, among others. It also seeks to promote, develop, and create projects related to both national and international tourism!
ABRACTUR aims to foster digital tourism content creators who work based on ethics, creativity, authenticity, and critical thinking. It also proposes to create better conditions for the development of their activities and to encourage projects and policies related to national and international tourism, especially those concerning tourism sustainability and cultural awareness.
ABRACTUR seeks to regulate, professionalize, and promote the category, as well as ensure the quality of the content produced and defend the interests of the creators involved.
In today's world, where social media are sources of influence and research for travelers and tourists, it's fundamental to ensure that content creators uphold standards of quality and credibility for the content they produce.
